Jetstream
A powerful enterprise mobile application that streamlines
operational efficiency and ensures front line airline staff can
provide an exceptional customer experience.
In the highly competitive aviation industry, customer loyalty and value add services are critical to an airline’s continued success. Intelligent Pathways has developed Jetstream, a powerful enterprise mobile application that streamlines operational efficiency and ensures front line airline staff can provide an exceptional customer experience.
Jetstream integrates with airline ground systems, such as reservations, CRM, crewing and operations, to provide current business data on a mobile device for use in-flight. Pre-flight, cabin crew download all related flight information directly to their device. Key passenger information including catering preferences, special requirements, loyalty members and alliance partner travellers is available at a glance, thereby ensuring crew can provide outstanding customer service.
Jetstream also facilitates more efficient business processes by allowing crew to record important data in-flight. This includes client-focused details such as new loyalty members and customer feedback, but also operational information such as fuel upload and cabin maintenance requirements. This data is published back to relevant ground systems dramatically improving speed of data collection and response times and reducing administrative burden.
Key Benefits:
- Streamlined operational reporting through electronic data capture in flight.
- Automated workflow that allows faster response time to cabin defects.
- Superior customer service through easier guest recognition.
- Improved client relations through customer intelligence being published direct from the flight to the central CRM system.
How Jetstream works:
Pre-Flight
- The crew downloads their flight to the device;
- Applicable flight data including manifest, passenger profile, crew, defects and notes are loaded from the airline ground systems;
- This data is stored on the device database.
In-Flight
- The crew accesses the stored data on the mobile device;
- The crew captures data about passengers, operations or defects during the flight on the device;
- This data is stored on the device database.
Post-Flight
- The crew synchronises the device with the Jetstream Base Station server.
- All data recorded in-flight including loyalty sign-ups, passenger notes, feedback, defects and reports are transferred back to the base station server and stored.
- This data is then published to the relevant airline systems via web service, file transfer or database operations.
